This may be a sleeper pick for the championship if you wanna call 6-1 a sleeper. Tom is great when it comes to Stableford formats. He’s a two-time champion under this type of scoring. One of the best natural ball strikers on tour. Very few miss hits from this guy. If he can keep his ball on the short grass he can score with anyone. Our analysts feel this golfer will really be in the running to win quite a few events throughout the season.
Straight off the tee, rarely finds trouble. Very good wedge player around the greens (if you call a 8-iron a wedge). Solid ball striker with any iron in his hands and hits more GIR then most players in the field.
Head case. Can’t seem to recover after having a bad hole. Wants to blame everyone within 100 yards of him for hitting a bad shot or putt. Tends to hit the ball fairly low so we see him struggling at a few places. Not the best player out of the rough or sand. Similar to Red Rocks Ron, we question his dedication to the game and whether he can survive one bad event.
